Christmas trees do not have to be exclusive to one holiday and can be decorated for any celebratory occasion, including baby showers. This fun and simple DIY project will make for a great décor piece for your party.
What You’ll Need:
· 3 oz. Foam surface primer spray paint
· Rust-Oleum or any 2x Ultra Cover primer spray
· Pink or blue spray paint
· Miniature artificial Christmas trees(18 in.)
· Baby shower decorations and favors
· Iridescent beads (matching your color choice)
· (Optional) Christmas House Jumbo Plastic Ornaments
· (Optional) Floral Garden Arctic Glitter Butterfly Decorations
Directions:
1. Cover just the base of the tree trunk with tape, so it doesn’t get paint on it. Painter’s tape is highly recommended.
2. Go to an air-vented room covered with floor coverings to conduct spray painting.
3. Place the tree trunk upside down and spray a couple of inches apart up and down with spray paint.
4. Then, spray paint the tree trunks with your colored spray thoroughly until perfectly pigmented.
5. Leave to dry.
6. After leaving to dry, heat your hot glue gun for 2 minutes.
7. (Optional) Add some glitter pink or blue spray paint to the top of the tree branches.
8. Glue a tiny dot on one of the baby shower’s assorted decorations to place on the inside of your tree, starting inward on the ends of the branches leading your way out with the different assortments and other optional fun assortments you can find.
9. Wait a couple of minutes to let them dry and allow them to completely dry before putting them on display.
10. Place on display and enjoy your baby shower!
