Rudy Giuliani And Son Banned From Fox News

by | Jul 27, 2023 | Moments

Reports indicate Andrew and Rudi Giuliani are both banned from appearing on Fox News following a massive lawsuit with Fox and Dominion Voting System for promoting false claims of the 2020 election.

In the latest downfalls for the former attorney of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Fox News has banned him for three months citing his promotion of baseless conspiracy theories he’s spread of the 2020 presidential election. Giuliani will be banned from Fox News for the next three months and the ban will also be placed on his son Andrew Giuliani.

The decision of banning Giuliani followed the Dominion Voting Systems announcement they are suing Fox News and Giuliani for the promotion of false claims that their machines were used to favor Joe Biden as the winner of the election. The lawsuit launched by Dominion Voting Systems is seeking damages of $1.3 billion and Fox News has filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit claiming they wanted to cover both sides of the arguments.

When asked for comment, Giuliani believes the claims were “substantially true” while admitting he doesn’t understand how the machines work. A spokesperson for Fox News denied a claim made by Politico that Giuliani has been in talks on “Fox & Friends” and the planned appearance was canceled because of the ban.

The spokesperson also goes on to deny Andrew Giuliani wasn’t banned from the network while citing several appearances on the network since announcing his candidacy as a New York gubernatorial candidate. Though it seems that Giuliani has questionable ties with the news network after working as an attorney for Trump that resulted in the suspension of his legal license in both Washington D.C. and New York.

Giuliani landed in hot water starting with getting involved with Trump’s legal challenges of the results of the 2020 election, alleging widespread voter fraud, and blamed manipulated voting machines that were defeated in a series of court cases. The research for this article was sourced from Business Insider.
